The Lesson - dedicated to Scott
|
The lesson hits you square upon the face, you're gone and there is nothing left to trace, the tear which flows from off the man you've known. He watches as you by the winds are blown. In search of what is what, you will not know, until you choose to stop, your seeds to sow. To nurture what it is you dare to learn, and in what realm you you care your place to earn. And when, some day, the circle shall come round, and you can lift your eyes above your stumbling ground, the man whose tears from off his face did fall, will be there when you truly make the call. The choice is yours, my love, for you to make. When shall you, what's your rightful place to take? To stand there, side by side, and equal be. To know that he is you and you are he.
